The Two Wolves
A Cherokee elder was teaching his grandchildren about life.
He said to them, “A fight is going on inside me… it is a terrible fight between two wolves.
One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, hatefulness, and lies.
The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, humbleness, kindness, friendship, generosity, faith, and truth.
This same fight is going on inside of you, and inside every other person, too.”
The children thought about it for a minute. Then one child asked his grandfather,
“Which wolf will win?”
The Cherokee elder replied…
“The one you feed.”
Not Moh Hong related, but I wanted to share this story. It comes from a lovely blog by a lady named Ronnie Ann here.

Just a short update on the Moh Hong trip to Pontian, Malaysia. It has been confirmed for Sunday 5th August and the bus leaves from AMK MRT, opposite the bus station at 8am. We’ll have bus plate numbers and a map shortly and I’ll post them as soon as they become available.
In the meantime, I now know a few irrelevant facts about the area. In addition to a massive trade in durians, did you know it had a Pineapple Museum?

We mentioned in the last post that there would be a trip to Pontian this Sunday for Vesak helpers and members. Unfortunately this has been delayed by a couple of weeks due to unforeseen circumstances. Group reps should have been in touch about the rescheduling, but if you have any queries please do get in touch with Yang Kuan. We’ll keep you posted here as soon as we have a new date for the outing.
