Join us for exchange of ideas and discussion about the Dharma. This is the last discussion before our Vesak celebration.
Dharma starts at 8.00pm. The session is on Zoom.
There is no need to have attended one before. The discussion will be in English.
This month the topic is: Path to Liberation – The story of Novice Monk Tissa of the Forest Monastery Chap 5 Ver 75: The True Disciple should know the path to worldly gain as one and that to Nibbana as another.
For this monthly dharma session, we will be drawing from the Dhammapada. For those who are unfamiliar, the Dhammapada is a collection of verses that constitutes the Buddha’s teaching. It is highly regarded as the sacred scripture of Theravada Buddhism.
We will use the illustrated version, as it is quite fun to read and may appeal to a larger audience especially if you wish to share with your children/grandchildren:
